Having served as a board member for the Nebraska Museum Association (NMA), The Edgerton Explorit Center's Director, Ken Schroeder (pictured center, left), was elected this fall as president for the upcoming term.The NMA works to support and unite the state's museum organizations and preserve cultural heritage across the state. Since the Association was formed in 1990, the NMA has worked on a number of projects, from needs assessment guidelines for cultural materials to grant workshops to help museums collect financial support. As the director of one of Nebraska's leading players in innovative science education and outreach, Ken Schroeder will bring valuable experience to his role as president of the Association.
